Realme is preparing to expand its budget-friendly Narzo lineup with a new addition built around long-lasting battery life. In a press release issued Thursday, the company confirmed that the Realme Narzo 100x 5G will officially debut in India next week. Ahead of the launch, a dedicated microsite for the phone has already gone live on both Realme’s own website and Amazon India, offering an early look at the device’s design and several of its key specifications.

Launch Date and Where to Buy

The Realme Narzo 100x 5G is confirmed to launch in India on July 15, with the event scheduled to begin at 12:00pm IST. Both Realme and Amazon have started publishing details ahead of the reveal, with early listings showing the phone in two color options: Flash Orange and Midnight Black.

Battery Life Is the Star Feature

The headline feature of the Realme Narzo 100x 5G is its battery. The phone is equipped with a substantial 8,000mAh cell, paired with 45W fast charging support. Realme claims the battery can deliver up to three days of typical use on a single charge, or as much as 26 hours of continuous YouTube playback, figures that would place it well ahead of most phones in its price segment when it comes to battery endurance.

Despite the large battery, the listing indicates the phone will maintain a relatively slim profile at 8.8mm thick, suggesting Realme has made efforts to keep the device manageable in hand despite the sizeable cell inside.

AI Features and Software

The Narzo 100x 5G is set to ship with a handful of AI-powered tools baked into the software experience. This includes an AI Assistant for note-taking, an AI Eraser tool for photo editing, and AI-powered Portrait Lighting for improved selfies and photography in tricky lighting conditions. The phone will also feature an AI Pulse Light, a customizable lighting element offering nine color options and five speed settings, likely used for notifications or charging status.

On the software front, the device will run Realme UI 7.0, based on Android 16, and will come with built-in access to Gemini Live, Google’s AI assistant experience.

Performance and Display

Under the hood, the Realme Narzo 100x 5G will be powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, paired with up to 14GB of dynamic RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Dynamic RAM typically refers to a feature that allows part of the device’s storage to function as additional virtual memory, helping with multitasking on budget and mid-range devices.

While the exact screen size hasn’t been disclosed yet, the display is confirmed to offer a 144Hz refresh rate along with peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits, specs that are increasingly common even in budget 5G phones but still notable for smooth scrolling and outdoor visibility.

To manage heat generated by extended use, the phone includes a 5,300 sq mm vapour chamber, a cooling solution more commonly associated with gaming-focused or performance smartphones.

Camera and Durability

For photography, the Realme Narzo 100x 5G will include a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup. On the durability front, the listing confirms the device carries MIL-STD-810H certification along with military-grade shock resistance. It’s also built with Realme’s ArmorShell Protection and Airbag Protection technologies, both aimed at improving the phone’s resilience against drops and everyday wear.

What to Expect Next

With the microsite already live and several specifications confirmed ahead of time, the July 15 launch event should fill in the remaining details, most notably pricing, exact display size, and full storage variant options. Given the emphasis on battery life, durability, and AI features, the Narzo 100x 5G looks positioned to compete for buyers who prioritize longevity and toughness over raw performance benchmarks.
