Apple iPhone 13 mini — The Most Powerful Compact iPhone Ever Made
The iPhone 13 mini was unveiled in September 2021 as a smaller and lighter version of the mainstream iPhone 13, featuring a 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display and weighing in at just 141g — making it one of the lightest and most pocket-friendly flagship smartphones ever released. One of the biggest things going in favor of the iPhone 13 mini is that it shares the same specs as the iPhone 13, and even many of the same core features of the much pricier iPhone 13 Pro.
The iPhone 13 mini is powered by the 6-core A15 Bionic chip and features dual 12MP cameras with wide-angle and ultrawide lenses, with Cinematic Mode added for the first time — allowing professional-looking depth-of-field video effects straight from the smallest iPhone in the lineup. The 12MP TrueDepth front camera supports Face ID, Night Mode, and Smart HDR 4 for sharp, detailed selfies in any lighting condition.
Some of the other features of the iPhone 13 mini include up to 512GB of storage, a Ceramic Shield front to better protect the display, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and MagSafe charging. The display also supports True Tone, HDR, Dolby Vision, and reaches up to 1200 nits of peak brightness — vivid and sharp in all conditions.
The iPhone 13 mini starts at $699 for the base 128GB variant, with the 256GB model priced at $799 and the 512GB model at $999. It was released in five colours — Black, White, Blue, PRODUCT RED, and for the first time, Pink.
At this size, Android doesn’t have any phones that can really compete — making the iPhone 13 mini the undisputed champion of compact flagship smartphones and the perfect choice for anyone who wants full iPhone power in the smallest possible package.
