iQOO has begun officially teasing its next Z-series smartphone for the Indian market, putting to rest earlier speculation about the device’s name. While many expected the phone to arrive simply as the iQOO Z11, the Vivo sub-brand has now confirmed the handset will instead launch as the iQOO Z11 Lite. Alongside the announcement, a dedicated microsite for the phone has gone live on a major e-commerce platform, confirming where buyers will eventually be able to purchase it. Design renders and a batch of leaked specifications have also surfaced, giving a fairly clear picture of what to expect before launch.
Design Teaser Reveals a Pill-Shaped Camera Module
iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya shared the news in a post on X, confirming that the iQOO Z11 Lite will be launching in India soon. The teaser image posted alongside the announcement gives an early look at the phone’s design.
Based on the teaser, the handset features a flat rear panel with a pill-shaped camera module positioned in the top-left corner, housing what appears to be a dual rear camera setup along with an LED flash and a ring light. The unit shown is finished in an off-white shade. On the right edge, the phone appears to house both the power button and volume rocker, while the left side looks to be kept clean and button-free. iQOO’s logo is centered near the bottom of the rear panel.

In addition to the design teaser, a dedicated microsite for the iQOO Z11 Lite has gone live in India on Amazon, confirming that the phone will be sold through the platform once it launches. The microsite also indicates the phone will ship running Vivo’s OriginOS, along with a set of AI-powered software tools, though the exact software version hasn’t been detailed yet.
Leaked Specifications Point to a Budget-Friendly Chipset
Separately, tipster Debayan Roy has shared what are claimed to be the key specifications for the upcoming device. According to this leak, the iQOO Z11 Lite will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with UFS 2.2 storage — a combination that typically points to a budget-focused device rather than a performance flagship.
On the battery side, the phone is rumored to include a sizeable 6,500mAh cell, supported by 44W wired fast charging. For photography, a single 50-megapixel primary rear sensor is expected to handle most of the camera duties.
The display is said to measure 6.74 inches, using an HD+ LCD panel capable of reaching up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness. Up front, the phone is expected to include a waterdrop-style notch housing a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Rounding out the leaked specs, the device may also carry an IP65 rating, offering a degree of protection against dust and light water exposure — a feature not always found at this price point.
Expected Price and What It Means
Industry estimates suggest the iQOO Z11 Lite could be priced around Rs. 15,000 in India, positioning it firmly in the budget segment. If the leaked specifications hold up, particularly the large battery and IP65 rating, the phone could stand out in a crowded price bracket where those features aren’t always guaranteed.
