Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Camera Bigger Upgrade

Earlier this year, Samsung announced its ultra-premium Galaxy S23 series and now that we are inching closer to the end of 2023, the leaks about the next-generation flagships are surfacing online. The Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup will also likely include three models – a standard, Plus, and Ultra. A fresh leak claims that the top-end Galaxy S24 Ultra will get a big camera upgrade. Some of the details about other models are also out.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to get a new telephoto camera sensor to improve users’ photography experience. Tipster Ice Universe claimed to have got confirmation of this. The cited source reported on Twitter that this Samsung 5G phone will feature a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with support for 3x optical zoom. This would be a substantial upgrade from the 10-megapixel 3x telephoto camera seen on the previous Galaxy S23 Ultra model.

This update is expected to offer much better imaging and zooming capabilities. One will likely get improved portraits. The details about the rest of the sensors are unknown. But, do keep in mind that this is not yet confirmed by the company and so, users are advised to take the details with a pinch of salt.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra boasted a quad rear camera setup, including a 200-megapixel sensor, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capabilities. It is unclear whether other sensors in the new version could be the same or different.

As for other features, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will likely use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, If the rumour mill is to be believed, the new 5G phones from Samsung could have titanium frames, which would be a departure from the aluminum chassis seen on the previous models.
