Xiaomi Mi 4c (2015) — A Mid-Range Favorite from Xiaomi’s Golden Era
The Xiaomi Mi 4c was developed by Xiaomi Inc. as part of the company’s mid-range smartphone lineup, released in September 2015. It was revealed by AnTuTu that the Mi 4c was one of the 10 most popular phones in China, a testament to how well it balanced performance and affordability during its time.
The Mi 4c is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, a 5-inch 1080p IPS display, and a 3080mAh battery, paired with the Adreno 418 GPU for smooth day-to-day performance. It came with 2GB or 3GB of memory, and 16GB or 32GB of storage in its two versions.
The phone features a 13MP primary rear camera and a 5MP front camera, with the rear camera supporting Dual-LED dual-tone flash, panorama, and HDR for versatile everyday photography.
It originally ran Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with the MIUI 7.2.4.0 ROM and was later officially upgradeable to Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 10.1.1.0. Connectivity options included dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C, and GPS with GLONASS and BeiDou support — features that were ahead of their time for a mid-range device in 2015.
The Xiaomi Mi 4c launched in White, Grey, Pink, Yellow, and Blue color options, giving buyers plenty of choice to match their personal style.
