Google’s Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are reportedly launching next week, according to tipster Saurav on X, who has shared a detailed specification breakdown covering display, performance, camera, and pricing details ahead of the official announcement.
Display: QHD+ LTPO OLED With Exceptional Brightness
According to the leak, the Pixel 11 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch display, while the larger Pixel 11 Pro XL steps up to 6.8 inches. Both are expected to use QHD+ resolution LTPO OLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate, and both are said to reach peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits, a genuinely impressive figure that would place these displays among the brightest currently available on any smartphone.
Performance: Tensor G6 Built on 2nm Process
Powering both devices is Google’s next-generation Tensor G6 chipset, reportedly built on a 2nm manufacturing process, representing a meaningful leap in chip fabrication technology compared to the current Tensor generation. The devices are expected to support up to 16GB of RAM, giving strong headroom for multitasking and on-device AI processing, an area Google has increasingly emphasized with its Tensor chip lineup.
Camera System
On the camera front, both models are rumored to share the same rear camera configuration: a 50-megapixel main sensor, paired with a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 48-megapixel telephoto camera offering 5x optical zoom. Up front, both devices are expected to include a 42-megapixel selfie camera, a notably high resolution for a front-facing sensor.
Battery and Charging
Battery capacity differs between the two models, reflecting their different display sizes. The Pixel 11 Pro is expected to include a 4,850mAh battery with 30W charging support, while the larger Pixel 11 Pro XL is rumored to house a bigger 5,115mAh battery paired with 45W charging.
Both devices are also expected to support Pixel Snap wireless charging, based on the Qi2 standard, which uses magnetic alignment for more efficient and consistent wireless charging compared to older Qi implementations.
Durability and Software
Both models are expected to carry an IP68 rating, offering strong protection against dust and water. On the software side, the devices are rumored to ship with Android 17 out of the box, keeping them current with Google’s latest operating system at launch.
Expected Pricing
According to the leak, starting prices for the 12GB RAM plus 256GB storage configuration are expected to be:
- Pixel 11 Pro: $1,099
- Pixel 11 Pro XL: $1,299
What This Means for Google’s Upcoming Launch
With a reported launch just a week away, these leaked specifications, if accurate, paint a picture of two genuinely capable flagship devices, headlined by exceptionally bright displays, a next-generation 2nm Tensor chip, and a versatile triple rear camera system on both models. The shared specifications between the standard Pro and Pro XL variants, differing mainly in screen size and battery capacity, suggest Google is keeping its flagship lineup fairly consistent this generation rather than reserving certain features exclusively for the larger model.
As with all pre-launch leaks, these details remain unconfirmed until Google makes an official announcement, though given how close the rumored launch date is, more concrete confirmation should arrive relatively soon.
