Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro — A Budget Phone with Fingerprint Security and Big Battery Life
The Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro Android smartphone was announced in March 2016 as an upgraded sibling to the popular original Redmi 3, adding extra features that made it a standout choice in the budget smartphone category at the time.
The phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with an Adreno 405 GPU, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable using a microSD card up to 128GB. The Redmi 3 Pro features a 5.0-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a pixel density of 294 ppi.
On the camera side, it offers a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies, with the rear camera supporting PDAF, an f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, HDR, and panorama mode. A fingerprint sensor is also present on the device, a notable feature for a budget phone of its era. The phone also includes an infrared port for controlling appliances and active noise cancellation for clearer calls.
Powering the device is a 4100mAh battery, giving it impressive longevity for all-day use. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, Bluetooth, and GPS. The Redmi 3 Pro was available in Dark Gray, Silver, and Gold finishes, wrapped in a sleek aluminum body
