Redmi has officially launched the K100 Pro in China, bringing a genuinely comprehensive gaming-focused flagship spec sheet, spanning an unusually bright display, a large silicon-carbon battery, and a well-rounded camera system, all headlined by Qualcomm’s latest performance chipset.
Display: An Exceptionally Bright 185Hz OLED Panel
The Redmi K100 Pro features a 6.59-inch flat display with a 2510 x 1156 resolution, using TCL’s M11 Real RGB OLED panel technology and supporting a 185Hz refresh rate, positioning the device clearly toward competitive mobile gaming.
Brightness figures here are genuinely exceptional. The display reaches up to 10,000 nits of peak brightness at 1% APL (a measurement representing brightness across a very small portion of the screen), 4,500 nits at 25% APL, and 2,200 nits in High Brightness Mode for more typical full-screen brightness. The panel also covers 90 percent of the BT.2020 color gamut, a notably wide color space, and supports an extremely fast 4,800Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, aimed at delivering near-instant touch response during fast-paced gameplay.

Performance: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 With Dedicated AI Graphics Chip
Powering the K100 Pro is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chipset, paired with a dedicated AI Independent Graphics Chip called the D2, built on a 12nm process. This secondary graphics chip suggests Redmi is offloading certain AI or graphics-related tasks to specialized silicon rather than relying solely on the main chipset, potentially improving sustained gaming performance and efficiency.
The device also includes LPDDR5X Ultra RAM paired with UFS 4.1 storage, both representing current top-tier memory and storage standards for flagship smartphones.
Camera System
For photography, the Redmi K100 Pro includes a 200-megapixel HP5 main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS), paired with an 8-megapixel OV08F ultrawide camera. Rounding out the rear setup is a 50-megapixel JN5 floating telephoto camera, offering 2.5x optical zoom at a 60mm equivalent focal length, built around a 1/2.75-inch sensor. This telephoto lens also supports up to 60x digital zoom and a close macro focusing distance of 10cm, giving it genuine versatility beyond just standard zoom photography.
Up front, the device houses a 32-megapixel OV32D40 selfie camera for video calls and self-portraits.

Battery and Charging
The Redmi K100 Pro packs a substantial 8,580mAh battery, supporting 100W wired fast charging alongside 50W wireless charging. The device also includes 27W wired reverse charging and 22.5W wireless reverse charging, giving users flexibility to charge other compatible devices directly from the phone.
Custom Chips and Thermal Management
Redmi has also included several custom-designed chips as part of the K100 Pro’s internal architecture, including the Surge P3, Surge G2, and Surge T1+ chips, each likely handling specific specialized functions within the device’s broader system architecture.

For thermal management, the phone includes a substantial 5,200 sq mm vapour chamber cooling system, a notably large cooling solution aimed at maintaining sustained performance during intensive gaming sessions without significant thermal throttling.
Software
The Redmi K100 Pro ships with Android 16, running Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 software on top, keeping it current with Xiaomi’s latest software platform.
Additional Features
The device includes an impressive combination of durability and convenience features, including both IP69 and IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance, an IR blaster for controlling compatible home appliances, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for biometric security, and bypass charging support, which allows power to flow directly to the device during use rather than routing through the battery, potentially reducing battery wear during extended charging sessions.
Audio is handled through dual 1115F speakers paired with a 0809 vibration motor, with sound specifically tuned in partnership with Bose. The device includes a USB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer.
On connectivity, the Redmi K100 Pro supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and NFC, covering the latest available wireless standards.
Dimensions
The Redmi K100 Pro measures 8.55mm thick and weighs 218 grams, a reasonably manageable weight and thickness given the device’s large battery capacity and comprehensive internal hardware.
Redmi K100 Pro Price in China
The Redmi K100 Pro is priced starting at 3,699 yuan for the 12GB RAM plus 256GB storage configuration.
