Xiaomi Mi Note (2015) — Xiaomi’s First Big-Screen Flagship Phablet

The Xiaomi Mi Note was Xiaomi’s answer to the growing demand for large-screen flagship phones, introducing a premium phablet experience to the brand’s lineup. It features a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and around 386 ppi pixel density, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Under the hood, the Mi Note runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset built on a 28nm process, with a quad-core 2.5GHz Krait 400 CPU and an Adreno 330 GPU, delivering solid performance for its time. It comes with 3GB of RAM and storage options of either 16GB or 64GB using eMMC 5.0, though there is no expandable storage slot.

The rear camera is a 13MP sensor with autofocus and optical image stabilization, supported by a dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, and panorama modes, capable of recording 4K video at 30fps. The 4MP front camera rounds out a capable imaging package for everyday photography and video calls.

A 3000mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging support via Quick Charge 2.0 keeps the phone powered through the day. Connectivity includes dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS with GLONASS and BDS support, plus a notable 24-bit/192kHz high-resolution audio feature for audiophiles. The phone was available in Black and White color options.
